Massage Services Offered

Swedish Massage
Most common modality. Uses a light touch to stroke, kneed and compress the skin and muscle tissue without going very deep. Great for relieving stress and increasing circulation.

Deep Tissue Massage
Designed to relieve severe tension in the muscles and connective tissue. More intense modality, recommended for people who are experiencing pain, engage in frequent physical activity, and people who have at one time sustained an injury.

Sports/Athletic Massage
Similar to Deep Tissue Massage, this modality introduces techniques developed especially for athletes and people who exercise frequently.

Orthopedic Massage
This modality is structured to help people who have suffered an injury. The techniques involved changed based on the injury, and many benefits can be expected, including increased blood circulation, decreased pain, release of scar tissue and strengthening of the muscles.

Thai Massage
Based on yoga, Thai Massage combines assisted yoga-like positions with traditional massage techniques. Especially good at increasing flexibility and relaxing the client.

Pregnancy Massage
Also called Prenatal Massage, this modality is specially structured for pregnant clients and carries with it many benefits, including relief from muscle cramps, spasms and myofascial pain (especially in the lower back, neck, hips and legs), increase in blood and lymph circulation (which can reduce swelling), reduction of stress on weight-bearing joints, easing of labor pain, enhancement of skin and underlying tissue pliability, and tranquil relaxation.
